Wood Pendant Lighting at Fat Shack Vintage

Wood pendant lighting brings natural warmth and texture to kitchens, dining rooms, living spaces and bedrooms. Our range pairs timber with glass, ceramic, metal and woven rattan, from simple woodtop pendants and Nord-style glass shades to oversized rattan statement pieces.

Styles & Materials

Nord and woodtop pendants combine a timber cap with opal, ribbed or reeded glass for a clean Scandinavian look, while ceramic and wood designs suit Japandi interiors. Woven rattan and wicker pendants bring a relaxed coastal feel, and timber linear pendants offer a streamlined option over long benches and dining tables.

Matching Wall, Ceiling & Floor Lights

Carry the same natural look through your home with coordinating wood wall lights, flush mount ceiling lights and floor lamps. Several designs, like our Oslo range, come as both a ceiling and a wall light.

Wood Pendant Lighting FAQs

Are wood pendant lights suitable for kitchens?

Yes. Wood creates an earthy, natural feel in the kitchen and is often paired with glass for a Scandinavian look. Wood pendants work especially well over a marble or concrete island for a mid-century modern aesthetic. Read our Kitchen Lighting Buying Guide for more ideas.

How high should I hang a wood pendant light?

As a general guide, hang pendants around 70–80cm above a kitchen island or dining table, and space multiple pendants 50–80cm apart. Adjust for your ceiling height and the size of the shade. For full measurements and diagrams, see our Pendant Light Buying Guide.

How do I care for a wood or rattan pendant?

Dust regularly with a soft, dry cloth and avoid harsh cleaners and chemicals, which can damage natural finishes. For glass shades, a standard glass cleaner works well. If you're unsure, get in touch and we'll help you care for your light.

What light bulbs do wood pendants need?

Most of our wood pendants take a separate bulb, so you can choose your preferred brightness and colour temperature. Our timber linear pendants have integrated LEDs. Check each product page for details, or read our Light Bulb Buying Guide.

Do you have wood wall lights and floor lamps to match?

Yes. This collection includes coordinating wood wall lights, ceiling lights and floor lamps, so you can create a consistent look across your kitchen, living and bedroom spaces. Browse all pendant lights for even more options.
