A refined Hamptons haven blending timeless design, coastal calm and modern family living
A complete transformation from the ground up. What once stood as a modest suburban home in Seven Hills has been reimagined by Debono Constructions into a striking modern Hamptons style residence that balances warmth, function and understated luxury.
The redesign and full extension added an entirely new second floor while reconfiguring the lower level to create generous open plan living. The result is a home that feels cohesive, contemporary and completely renewed inside and out.
The exterior sets the tone: smooth rendered walls in soft grey paired with crisp white trims and black detailing for a timeless, coastal inspired look. A deep blue front door anchors the façade, a nod to classic Hamptons style that draws the eye and hints at the calm, layered palette that flows through the interior. Subtle architectural details, including the entry portico and white panelling, frame the entrance beautifully. The look is completed with Fat Shack Vintage Rail Wall Lights, chosen for their clean lines and effortless balance between modern and traditional.
Inside, the home opens into light filled living spaces where dark timber floors contrast softly against white walls and trims. The interior palette mirrors the exterior: a harmony of white, grey and deep blue green, allowing furnishings to feel both elegant and relaxed.
In the kitchen, the same blue green hue is carried through on cabinetry, grounding the open plan layout and adding depth. Gold and brass hardware and a matching tap introduce subtle warmth and refinement, tying into the luxurious yet approachable Hamptons aesthetic. Above the island bench, the Broadview Glass Pendant Light provides a sculptural focal point, its clear glass and clean frame offering balance to the room’s layered textures.
Throughout the rest of the home, Glebe CCT Dimmable Downlights ensure soft, even illumination. Their discreet form allows architectural and decorative details to take centre stage, maintaining a bright and welcoming atmosphere at all times of day.
Every element of this project reflects Debono Constructions’ thoughtful craftsmanship, from the careful balance of modern materials and classic detailing, to the cohesive flow between interior and exterior. What was once an ordinary suburban house now stands as a refined family home that feels both timeless and new.
