At Fat Shack Vintage we aim to only offer products that are readily available to ship. This means that it is either IN STOCK at our Melbourne facility or there is a STANDARD or EXTENDED LEAD TIME before arrival of stock to our facility.

STANDARD LEAD TIME
Upon receipt of your order, we need to transfer the stock from one of our local Australian suppliers to our distribution facility in Melbourne. On receipt of the stock your order will be sent in entirety typically within 1-2 business days. Supply levels change on a daily basis so if after ordering it becomes apparent that there is now an unexpected, extended lead time for replenishment of an item then our customer service team will notify you as soon as possible and provide you with the updated lead time.

EXTENDED LEAD TIME
At times, an item or items you have purchased can unexpectedly become unavailable for immediate shipping, resulting in an extended lead time. If it is already known that an item is not readily available to ship and there is an extended delay, lead time information will be displayed here under the Extended Lead time section on the item listing.

Once all items in your order are available, we will ship your order in its entirety.

With thousands of products available for sale on our website and the nature of supply and demand fluctuations with fast moving goods, it is impossible to keep all items 100 per cent in stock, 100 per cent of the time. We offer a variety of products and finishes to try and suit many tastes, so unexpected delays can and do occur.

Description

The Portofino Ceramic Chandelier is a timeless fixture that brings style to your vintage or modern interior. The light features three or five shades delicately crafted from unglazed white ceramic, giving it a soft, matt finish. Which are paired with a steel or handcrafted brass suspension in black or gold/brass finishes. This modern classic light would bring style and flair to your dining room, an entryway or commercial spaces such as a moody diner.

About the Portofino Ceramic Chandelier:

  • It features ceramic shades with an unglazed white ceramic finish. 
  • The ceramic shade measures 130mm in diameter.
  • The shade is fitted to the arm with a gallery. All brass and steel chandeliers are paired with a matching gallery, except for the gold/brass steel chandelier which is paired with a black gallery. If you would like a gold gallery with this frame, please contact us.
  • The brass frame is handcrafted and comes in a Matt Black finish. As the brass lights are made to order, there is a longer lead time. See our 'delivery & returns' tab for more detail. If your order is urgent, please contact us for the current stock on hand level. Ordering a brass frame fixture would qualify this as a special order item and as such it cannot be refunded, returned or exchanged.
  • Please note: The brass frame is also available in Satin Brass, Antique Bronze and Florentine Bronze. Please contact us for more information on purchasing these finishes.
  • The brass chandeliers are assembled with a 790mm drop length off the ceiling to the centre piece.
  • The suspension pole for brass frames can be shortened by cutting to a shorter length. Available in longer lengths by request.
  • The triple arm steel frames are available in Black or Gold/Brass finishes.
  • The five arm steel frame is available in the Black finish.
  • The steel fixtures feature 180° swivel lamp holders to adjust upwards and downwards.
  • To adjust the lamp holder the wing nut screw needs to be loosened slightly. The lamp holder is not to be adjusted with the wing nut still tightened in place.
  • The steel chandelier when assembled totals a 990mm drop from the ceiling. The two poles supplied in the box total 380mm pole length when combined. Both poles must be used. Additional extension poles of 380mm can be added if you would like a length greater than 990mm, simply contact us to arrange.
  • The multi light pendant attaches to the ceiling via a hook hanger which is secured in the ceiling and then the ceiling cap covers the hole. 
  • The lamp holder takes a standard bayonet (B22) light bulb, max 60W.

Fat Shack Vintage delivers Australia wide. From the tip to the tail and all the places in-between… if you live in Australia, we’ll get it to you! 
  • All in-stock items are normally dispatched from our Melbourne location within 2-3 business days from date of purchase. If not in stock, there is a longer lead time as the brass product is made to order here in Australia. This ensures the highest standards of craftsmanship and attention to detail. Current lead time to produce is approximately 2-3 weeks from order date. The lead time is approximate. If your order is urgent, please call us for the current stock on hand level.
  • Please note: orders containing ‘made to order’ items, will be held and shipped in their entirety once all goods are available. If you wish to split your order into separate shipments, a further freight charge will apply. Please contact us for freight calculations.
  • For a shipping rate quote, just select your desired products and proceed to the checkout where you will be able to enter your delivery postcode in the Shipping Rate Calculator. It will then calculate the shipping price for your order based on your postcode and the items in your basket.
  • To ensure peace of mind, all FSV orders are sent with tracking and full insurance.

Returns

We provide a 60 day return policy on all eligible items purchased from our website. This excludes products marked as “Clearance” and “Customised / Special Order” items. Please refer to the Description tab for information. If the item arrives in tip top condition but you decide that you just don’t like it anymore or have changed your mind then please return the items in original, unused, unmarked condition and with original packaging within 60 days for a refund, minus the freight cost. 

In order to process your refund request, please contact us that we can know when to expect the products back and so we can provide you with Return instructions. Please note we cannot accept in person returns at our location.

Please check your order upon delivery and if required, report any damages, faults or problems within 14 days of receipt of goods.
