Step back in time to the golden era of the American cocktail.
Ascend the stairs of The Everleigh into a forgotten era of sophisticated drinks and cocktails made with care. There are no vodka soda’s here, no shouting your order across the bar to a harried bartender, and no ice machine either. The Everleigh is a haven of sophistication without pretense; the interior is warm and inviting, and the service is intuitive and knowledgeable.
The Everleigh focuses on reimagined versions of classic drinks, inspired by American history and the innovation of the years surrounding the birth of the cocktail. If you are feeling adventurous, you can order the Bartender’s Choice and be delighted by whatever is inspiring your bartender that day or simply stick to the well-made classics.
No detail has been left unexamined at this nationally recognised bar. The décor is a blend of dark wood, soft leather, warm touches of gold and brass, and soft diffuse lighting. The dark wood of the bar is topped with marble and lit by a small chandelier and low pendant lighting for a warm traditional look that focuses the attention on the action behind the bar.
Step down into the dusky blue room adjacent, and a luxe art deco vibe envelopes you. Take a seat on the plush gold velvet armchairs or soft leather-style banquette seating, softly lit with wall lamps and individual table lights. Sip expertly mixed cocktails under the Chapman Glass Pendant Lights by Fat Shack Vintage, offering low intimate lighting as you savour your drink.
The Everleigh’s private function spaces, the Elk Room and the Starling Room, offer a rustic contrast to the lush elegance of its main space. Kick back in a leather armchair or recline on a leather couch in the Elk Room, surrounded by civil war memorabilia. The plaid wallpaper of the Starling Room recalls an intimate hunting lodge and is perfect for small groups.
Inspired by the contrasting styles of The Everleigh? Whether you’re seeking to emulate an civil war officer’s lounge, a rustic hunting lodge or a luxe hotel from the roaring twenties, Fat Shack Vintage has the lighting you need.
