These genuine Bakelite Bowl Light Shades have a warm, nostalgic look of vintage style and ooze Australiana charm. These Bakelite shades are made here in Australia using the original moulds and machinery. They were traditionally used by flower growers as the shades are able to withstand high wattage globes without melting when strung over fields or hung in green houses. They are a great  light shade to use on a pendant light, wall light or on even on a flush mount. Ideal for kitchen island lighting, bedroom lighting, hallway or any room looking to add some classic vintage styling.

About the Bakelite Bowl Light Shades: 

• The Bakelite shades have a bowl like design and are made of genuine Bakelite. They are manufactured here in Australia using the original moulds and machinery of the 1930's. 
• The shades are 155mm in diameter and 70mm high.
• Available in a range of seven colours; black, green, red, white, mottled brown, mottled green, mottled red. All available from the drop down menu.
• The lamp holder mounting hole is 29mm in width and is intended for a bayonet fitting.
• These Bakelite shades are also available as a Bakelite Bowl Pendant Light or Bakelite Bowl Close to Ceiling Light to allow for continuity between rooms.

You can now click & collect your order from our Melbourne warehouse, so shopping with us has never been easier. Please contact us to arrange a collection time convenient for you.

Returns

We understand that, from time-to-time, not everything goes according to plan. For this reason, we happily offer a 60-day return policy on all eligible items purchased from our website. If your item arrives in tip top condition, but you’re not 100% satisfied, you can return the items in original, unused and unmarked condition with original packaging within 60 days for a full refund, minus the freight cost.

Upon delivery of your order, please check your order to ensure it’s arrived in perfect condition. If there are any damages, faults or problems with your order, please contact us within 14 days of receipt of goods. We will of course replace or refund any damaged items at no additional cost to you.
